As of late, I have detoured from my usual bead embroidery to the more relaxing art of clay. I have several canes I have made and have been making floral beads. After baking the beads I sand and buff them to a glossy shine. I have not used a varnish on these beads. For more pictures of these beads click here.

Upcoming Projects
Summer has final reared its head here in Oregon and I thought I would spend some time devoted to making hand flowers. What is a hand flower you say? A hand flower is a combination of a ring and bracelet together. I have made them before but have not seen a lot of people wearing them. I will be putting them in my etsy shop soon.

Adventures in Jewelry Design
I have been making jewelry for several years now and love it. I have decided to take the advice of many people I know and start pursuing my dream of selling my artistic jewelry. I can't give up my day job yet but hope to one day pay the bills with income from selling my jewelry. I currently have an online shop on ETSY @ sevenwestdesigns.etsy.com. I am trying to add new pieces weekly so please visit my shop and tell me what you think.
